In <strong>Piazza dei Signori<\/strong> and in <strong>Cortile Mercato Vecchio<\/strong> you\u2019ll find the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Casa di Babbo Natale<\/span> (<em>Santa\u2019s House<\/em>) and the classical wood stalls in collaboration with the Nuremberg \u201cChristkindlmarkt\u201d. The themed initiatives will also be extended to <strong>Via della Costa<\/strong>, <strong>Piazza Indipendenza<\/strong>\u2014where a family area will also be set up\u2014 and <strong>Piazza Viviani<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <strong>Lungadige San Giorgio<\/strong> you can find the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Posta di Babbo Natale<\/span> (Santa\u2019s mail) and a concert area with more than 100 initiatives for children, like the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">carousel l\u2019Albero della Felicit\u00e0<\/span> (the Tree of Happiness). On <strong>Ponte Pietra<\/strong> and <strong>Ponte di Castelvecchio<\/strong> there will be <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">arts and crafts stalls<\/span> during the weekends and in Piazza San Zeno a great <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">ice rink<\/span> will be set up for young and old, where you can also enjoy shows. Read the full programme <strong>here<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year you can also enjoy Christmas top view as there will be a series of <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">events, <em>aperitivi<\/em>, hot chocolate, mulled wine, <em>pandoro<\/em> and tastings of desserts<\/span> on the top of <strong>Torre dei Lamberti<\/strong>, with a view of the Christmas Market and of <strong>Castel San Pietro<\/strong> funicular. Here\u2019s the <strong>programme<\/strong> of the events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, there will be <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Nativity scenes exhibitions<\/span> inside the <strong>Loggia di Fr\u00e0 Giocondo<\/strong> in Piazza dei Signori and near the Basilica di San Zeno inside the <strong>Galleria Giustizia Vecchia<\/strong>. All Nativity scenes are made out of recycled materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-2 is-cropped\"><ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\"><li markets has a magical flavour<\/em><br><em>DOWN-DX Christmas tree in Piazza Dante &#8211; Christmas Market in Verona<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Christmas Markets will be open from 16th November to 26th December 2018<\/strong>, <strong>from 10 am to 9.30 pm Sunday-Thursday<\/strong>, while on <strong>Friday<\/strong>, <strong>Saturday and pre-festives they will close at 11 pm<\/strong>. On the 24th they will close at 5 pm, at Christmas at 3 pm and on the 26th at 6 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To make the tour easier for you we made an <strong>interactive map <\/strong>with the places we mentioned and the car parks. <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/d\/u\/0\/viewer?mid=1Iat08ighpRIuri36_tBxS8pEMkOzt2kz&amp;ll=45.441239499903254%2C10.991093449999994&amp;z=15\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><u>Click here<\/u><\/strong><\/a> to surf in it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the markets are not enough for you, <strong>from 10th to 13th December<\/strong> the &#8220;<strong>banch\u00e9ti di Santa Lussia&#8221;<\/strong> (Santa Lucia Markets) will arrive <strong>in the magnificent Piazza Bra<\/strong> right in front of the Arena together with the beautiful <strong>comet star<\/strong>, realized by the architect Rinaldo Olivieri more than 30 years ago. The <em>banch\u00e9ti<\/em> are a tradition that is always awaited and welcomed with affection by all the people from Verona. Circulation of unauthorized cars is forbidden.<\/li><li>It\u2019s easier to park in the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">suburban parkings<\/span>\u2014<strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Parcheggio Centro, Cittadella, Arena, Tribunale<\/span><\/strong>\u2014, only a few minutes on foot from the historic centre.<\/li><li>Preferably use public transportation and shuttle buses to get to the city centre.<\/li><li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">During the weekend it will be possible to park inside the Expo area in P3 parking (entrance in Viale del Lavoro).
